Healing is not just about coping
It's about coming home to yourself

Lindsey Keyser Ball, Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, RYT-200

On the surface, you may look like you've got everything going for you.  You've built overall stability, maybe even success.  But on the inside, you feel a longing for deep emotional connection, an ache that struggles be filled, a sense of not being enough, wondering why old patterns with people-pleasing and self-doubt keep showing up.

Healing is possible and you've come to the right place.

I'm Lindsey, and I work with adults who are ready to explore the deep layers to their emotional and spiritual psyche.  Many of my clients have experienced childhood emotional neglect, relational trauma, or physical or sexual abuse.  While these wounds may be buried, they quietly shape the way you connect to yourself and others, and can leave you disconnected from your own true inner voice and knowing.

I help adults learn to become their own best friend, by learning to trust their intuition and knowing. â€‹ My clients find confidence, and self-trust, by gaining the tools they need to be able to navigate personal relationship, work challenges, and being able to create a life of meaning and connection.

Many of today's solutions for treating anxiety are skimming the surface and not looking at the whole picture, leaving many to feel unseen, frustrated, and hopeless.  From our very first session, we start to map out your vision for your future, and then work on answering the question 'what will life look like to know that our work together was successful?'

First, we'll build understanding on what's fueling the anxiety (and probably depression) you're having.  Then we create the tools that you can start using right away to calm your nervous system.  We will look at how the past is still showing up and impacting you today, maybe with old memories, creating limiting beliefs about yourself or the world, or creating discomfort in your body.  Through our work together, you'll start to feel more connected to a deeper and more truer sense of you.

I am dedicated to helping people heal.

My training in EMDR with a focus on attachment and trauma, means I have the knowledge and training you need and deserve to overcome the complexities of what you're facing.  But at the end of the day, you want to know that you are working with the right-fit person who gets what it means to deal with self-doubt, overthinking, the worst inner critic, perfectionism, and people-pleasing.

I get it because I've been there, I know that it can be really hard to ask for help, to know where to start, to trust that you are choosing the right person to provide your help. So when we work together, you'll get not only a trained therapist, but someone who truly understand what you are going through. You'll be working with a therapist who's done her own inner work, and is continually a 'work in process', who brings a deep level of compassionate challenge, and deep space holding for each individual with whom she works.
